Versioning policy

TYPO3 extensions are documented only from GitLab Releases. Their major version is the TYPO3 major version. The documentation version is major.minor; patch releases update the same documentation line. Historical minor lines remain available.

Other repositories use GitLab Releases when available. Repositories without releases are checked against the exact default-branch commit during the weekly synchronization policy.
